My beloved Teren lost his battle with colic October 8th 2003, a battle we had been

fighting for 3 years. He was my soul-mate, I can't even begin to put in to words the loss that I feel,

there will never be another like him. I stayed with Teren to the end, the last thing he saw  was

my face looking back at his,  the last thing he heard was my soft spoken words of my love for him.

 I will miss you!

I hope you won't find this to cluttered, below are pictures through out his life

I purchased Teren in 1997 at 3 months old from Legend Woods Farm

  September 2003

In February 2003 we almost lost Teren when he displaced and twisted his colon

The following photo's are not of great quality but shows him after his surgery

May 2003 Teren enjoying a good scratch we call this "The Squiggy Face"

Teren and a friend (who's 5' 7")  6 weeks after surgery.

This was his favorite thing... Having the hinny scratched

This is my 5 year old gelding Teren in February 2003. Teren is 3/4 Friesian 1/4 Standardbred

He is out of Nicholas a son of Daen and Tirzah Reeshon (1/2 Friesian) Nero Daughter

Teren Currently stands 17.2 hands

Teren 18 months

Playing in the field, he just loves that ball

Just after his bout with ulcers, he was quite anemic so he became very sun bleached

One month old

So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you'll trot on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.

I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.

There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.

Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the coat I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...I loved you best.
